Lovely Duck, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Daak 2 (the "App"). By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described below.

1. Information You Add to Daak 2

The App lets you create financial records and related content, including transactions, accounts, budgets, savings plans, investments, notes, tags, images, profile details, and locations you choose to attach. This content is stored on your device and may be synchronized through iCloud when available.

2. Local Storage and iCloud

• Local storage: Your App data is stored on your device.
• iCloud and CloudKit: When iCloud is available, Apple may store and synchronize your data across your devices and support data you explicitly share with other iCloud users.

Financial records are not uploaded to the Daak 2 market-data service. iCloud data is handled by Apple under your Apple account and Apple's terms and privacy policies.

3. Device Features You Choose to Use

Daak 2 may request access to selected photos or your location only when you use a feature that needs it. Selected images can be used for avatars, backgrounds, icons, or transaction attachments. Location can be used to attach a place to a record or display records on a map. You control these permissions in system settings.

4. Market Data and Network Requests

When you search for or update investment market data, the App contacts our market-data service. Requests may contain a market region, symbol, search term, and date range. Like most internet services, routine technical information such as IP address, request time, response status, and service logs may be processed for security, reliability, rate limiting, and troubleshooting. The service does not receive your transaction history, account balances, budgets, notes, or other personal finance records.

5. Purchases and Third-Party Services

Features you choose to use may involve services provided by Apple, including:

• iCloud and CloudKit for storage, synchronization, and sharing;
• StoreKit and the App Store for purchases and entitlement verification;
• Photos and Maps services for content and location features.

These services process information under Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment-card information from Apple.

6. How We Use Information

Information processed by Daak 2 is used to provide requested features, sync and share data you choose to place in iCloud, deliver market information, verify purchases, maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information or use your financial records for advertising.

7. Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the services we operate. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Local and iCloud data remains subject to the security of your device, Apple ID, and Apple services. Technical server logs may be retained only as reasonably necessary for security, operations, and troubleshooting.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can edit or delete records in the App, manage permissions in system settings, and manage iCloud data through your Apple account. Deleting the App removes its local data from that device; information synchronized to iCloud may need to be managed separately through the App or your Apple account settings. Applicable law may provide additional privacy rights.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after an update means the revised policy applies to your use of the App.
